We made it to our due date! And uh, past the due date. And then past it some more.

I am now three days overdue. Which is hardly anytime at all considering how long the baby has been baking. But boy am I antsy! Maybe it's because everyone else is having their babies (*hateyouBeyonce), or the fact that I don't want to work from home tomorrow, but the restlessness has been at a high all weekend. Yesterday I ran around like crazy running errands, getting groceries, cleaning, cooking, and baking. Plus I stayed up super late reading my Kindle thinking perhaps I would start having contractions in the middle of the night (fail). Alas, it's a waiting game. 

Highlights of the past week:

- This super cute package we got in the mail from E's aunt and uncle:

It's a baby made out of diapers and onesies, plus a bunch of receiving blankets, prefold cloth diapers (apparently great burp cloth material), a stuffed animal, and baby hats. I'm going to steal this idea for whenever my people start making people of their own.

- We made it to the Cheesecake Factory on Thursday night and it was everything I dreamed of. Actually, it was better than I thought it would be since I figured only their desserts would be good. We had a calamari app and E got pasta carbonara whereas I got the chicken bellagio (chicken with some sort of pesto pasta and arugula). Then we had delicious cheesecake! Mine had hot fudge on it and his was white chocolate macademia nut on a blondie brownie. Okay, his was better. And now, I yearn.

- Painted all the letters for Junior's room today and they turned out great! Just wondering if they'll be too heavy to hang now because we got super huge ones. I also took pics of the room since it's pretty much done now.

- Washed the shower curtain and Swiffered the floor. It made me feel whole again.

- Made cookie bars with pureed white beans and oatmeal from a healthy cooking website. I underbaked them. It was weird. They had chocolate. I shall eat them.

- Went in for a non-stress test at the doc on Friday. The baby's doing fine and I don't have another appointment until this Friday. Then we start talking about the I-word. I don't want an induction! It was fun listening to the baby's heartbeat for an hour though. But I'm definitely not having contractions yet.

- Got caught up in the world of Minesweeper again thanks to a free app on my phone. Send help.
