Happy November
Three days in and the month is already flying by! I'm happy tomorrow's Friday but there's a busy weekend ahead of us. On Saturday we're taking a childbirth class and Sunday is breakfast with E's coworker's family. Should be fun. Hope there's eggs. And Bacon. It deserves some capitalization.
In other news, I received this present in the mail a couple weeks ago from the fairies at BlogHer.
Woohoo clean smelling clothes! You smack one of these babies onto the inside of your dryer and don't have to worry about popping in dryer sheets for a couple months. So simple. I like the strong Bounce smell, but the downside is it goes on everything that you wash in there (I don't need it for dog pillows. And is this safe for baby clothes? I am undecided). I dislike fishing out those little used sheets from the laundry though so that's a benefit. And hey, my dryer feels a little fancier at the end of the day too.
In other, other news, my back hurts and I am a complain-y 31-week pregnant lady. I made it to the gym once this week though and did yoga today and I feel so accomplished! Now I just need to stop passing out on the couch after dinner. I miss being pain-free. On the bright side, my hair has pretty much stopped falling out after showers and is super healthy. Aces!
We ordered a bunch of pumpkin and apple pies from the kids in the culinary arts program at E's school for Thanksgiving. Very excite. I do cherish pie. But not as much as I love:
McDonald's ice cream cones! One dollar for pure bliss. Junior loves them too. Plus they are low fat. I'd say this is the strongest craving/love affair of my pregnancy so far. Today I cheated and had cookie dough ice cream with sprinkles from a local ice cream shop by work. Heaven! Thank goodness I can still enjoy ice cream.
Three more weeks until we leave for vacation, and seven weeks left until Christmas!
