Decisions, Decisions

My doctor told me a couple months ago that "pregnancy brain" (aka, being super forgetful/operating in some sort of a hormone-induced fog) is very real and I believe her completely. Not so much the forgetting part but more of the indecision! Last night, I went grocery shopping for hours and kept forgetting what I was planning on buying when I was on that side of the store. I agonized over which granola bar to buy and ended up buying all three. I wandered around looking for anchovy paste and found it on my third lap around the aisle.

Other examples:

- I couldn't decide between two phone covers at the store today and stared at them long enough that E made the choice for me. Since when did hot pink with polka dots even become something that I would consider?

- Picking out Christmas gifts online. I've had my Amazon cart open all weekend and still can't pull the trigger. What if I'm forgetting something? What if I'm buying the wrong thing? What if I haven't looked at every 65 cm stability ball that the site has to offer?

Help!

At least this weekend has gone by mercifully slow. Didn't get a lot done, but I pat myself on the back nonetheless. At 32 weeks, I'm trying to soak up all the rest I can, although it's hard since sleeping for long stretches makes me sore. We went out to British Beer Co. for dinner tonight and the panko-crusted green beans were the highlight of my life (take that evil nutritionist!). Now all that's left is to enjoy the rest of my vanilla cinnamon coffee, think about pulling that Amazon trigger some more, and gear up for another week. Breaking Dawn part 1 next weekend!
