Busy Bees

Poor Reasons Why I Have Been Absent:

1. Parents came to visit last weekend. It turned out surprisingly well! They cooked a ton of food and cleaned out our backyard for us (it was choked with weeds). We also took them to sushi buffet and they pronounced it "very clean" (aka delicious).

2. Covering for boss out on vacation - work work work. Don't feel like staring at a computer after that!

3. It's hot outside. As in, sit at home and try not to move hot. Thank goodness for our crappy little air conditioner. Crappy little air conditioner, I love you.

4. Working on our newest project:

We're expecting! Yup, and due in January. It's our first baby, our parents' first grandchild, the first offspring of our friends, etc. And it only took 2 weeks for the shock to wear off!

Needless to say, our summer plans for repaving and revamping the walkway/driveway plus making a fire pit in the backyard have now turned into possibly just repaving the driveway and saving as much money as possible. On the plus side, I have a bunch more shopping to do!

5. But contrary to the money thing, I want pizza!!
