Weird Saturday

Yesterday was weird but pretty good! Here's what we did:

- Woke up late and hurriedly got ready to go to our oil change appointments at Firestone. E lovingly popped some Fiber One pop tarts into the toaster oven for me so I wouldn't starve. They are really delicious! Too bad I think they're being discontinued.

- Frantically tried to buy Seattle tickets while waiting for the cars. Something was weird with the airline site and it would not let me complete my purchase! It took 2 hours of fruitless searching and attempting to pay before I finally gave up and did some real work.

- Stopped by Walmart and then headed to one of E's kid's open house. The first of many in my life I'm afraid. The food was good though and they were all super nice (apparently it was a family open house, still not sure how we found ourselves there). They had a pasta salad with imitation crab meat that was delicious! And I got to eat rice with an over easy egg on top. Good stuff.

- Got ice cream!

- Passed out once we got home. It rained all day.

Today I finally attacked the mess that is our front yard and hedges. I also finally worked up the strength to make dinner (chicken parm). We got a watermelon at the grocery store today and I'm excited to eat that while watching Food Network tonight. Be jealous!

So...who wants to fly me to Seattle?
