Sunday Burgers

A good Sunday contains a good burger.

I had a great burger today from Eagle's Deli in Brighton. We hadn't been there in ages and they had completely renovated the store from the last time. It was busy and crowded but the fries were just as delicious as I remembered.

It's been a busy weekend entertaining E's friend Joe from the faraway land of Colorado. It's been a little while since we've had a visitor but I hope that we managed to show him a good time. We ate out at a few local places, got him lots of good beer, drove around Boston and walked around Cambridge. We also tried unsuccessfully to get inside E's school on a Saturday and ate delicious ice cream! All mentions of ice cream deserve a punctuation point! I love my sweets.

Consequently, I am feeling lazy and bloaty. My plan for tonight is to do laundry, prep a spinach artichoke dip for E's teacher potluck tomorrow at school, do some light freelance work, make some breakfast sandwiches for the week, and settle down with a cold glass of apple juice to watch the Next Food Network Star. A quiet night is in order!
