Shopping Update

 I love me a good deal.

This weekend I ventured out to our so-so mall with the 25% Macy's Friends and Family discount (I had a mailer, though it's useless considering that they have coupons on every counter). And I finally bought my watch! I've been craving a practical yet stylish watch for months to add to my ever-expanding watch collection (obsession?). I checked out a smaller version of the above Bulova that I had seen online but in person it looked well, small. So I went with the one-size-up option. Final price: 225 + 20% off sale + 25% discount = 135!

While waiting for it to be sized (did you know you can't return it once they size it? bunk). I wandered over to the shoe clearance and found these babies:

I needed a new black heel since a young Sam chewed off the back straps of my work shoes in September. These were 98 dollars + 50% off clearance + 25% discount = 36 dollars!

I also bought a top from Express (needed to use a reward coupon) and some workout shorts and swimming trunks for E. They are bright red and I think it makes him look like a lifeguard. Don't know how fond he is of that. I got groceries afterwards and we ate cheese pizza and salad while watching 2/3 of the Godfather (what a strange, creepy movie). It was a very solid day!
