Spring Break
It's E's spring break! What will he be doing with all of his free time this week?
PARTY!!
...and then we remember he's 25. And boring.
So! His agenda for the week includes:
- "Organizing" - haven't gotten him to explain what this means yet.
- Lunching with me at work while doing said "organizing". Sushi awaits.
- Playing games.
- Running an AP study session for his kids (this involves pizza! And Me!).
- Playing games.
- Getting quotes for paving our driveway (take THAT spies/neighbors!).
- Cleaning the house and steam cleaning the carpet (insert chorus of angels singing).
When did we become adults? Case in point: this weekend I deep-cleaned the bathroom. This involved bleaching the tub, scrubbing it down along with the sink and toilet, wiping the floors down by hand like my old-school mom does, and Windex-ing everything. It felt great. And I only felt slightly nauseous afterwards from the bleach poisoning.
Again, I have no idea how I got this old.
Tomorrow I think we're hanging out with Jamie. We're going on a nature trail walk and watching Source Code. Afterwards, I'll be home in time for my 4 PM Jello and afternoon nap once I pop out my dentures.
Things I am shopping for but cannot find:
- Air conditioner to replace our ancient one.
- A swimsuit in case I need one for vacation (bikinis went out the door with my early twenties).
- A perfect vacation (yup, the inner Alaska/France debate rages on).
- Flea medicine (this is a dumb one but I can't find it as cheaply as I once did and it bothers me).
Off to go work!

How we love spring break! During that time, families do a lot of spring cleaning! Are you doing some spring cleaning, too?
