Inception, Suburban Style

We've been discussing possibly paving our driveway for a couple weeks now (it's gravel like our neighbor's).  The general rule of thumb that I discovered is that if your neighborhood has mostly paved driveways, you should too. It doesn't really add too much value otherwise. Since our neighbor's were not paved or poorly paved, I figured we had some time to leisurely price out our options and decide.

BUT.

When we arrived home after work today, the neighbor's driveway had been freshly, nicely, perfectly paved.
